As part of his professional career, Jose Jaime has advised national and foreign companies in labor and social security issues, structuring hiring plans, compensation and benefits, and termination of employment plans. He has participated in strategy planning from a labor law perspective for mergers, acquisitions and demergers, as well as in the elaboration of due diligence reports. Moreover, he has worked as a public official, drafting court rulings on diverse conflicts between employees and companies, and also, between the affiliates and the entities from the Social Security System.

Before joining Correa Merino Agudelo, Jose Jaime worked at EAFIT University, and subsequently at the Judicial Branch as an Auxiliary for a Judge at the Labor Division of the Supreme Tribunal of Medellin. Furthermore, he was an Associate Lawyer at our Firm as a member of the labor, social security and migratory law team. He has also worked as undergraduate and postgraduate degree professor.
